Wall Decal Guidelines

Which surfaces are suitable for my wall decals? Our decals adhere best to smooth, dry, clean surfaces indoors. While they are highly reliable, adherence to textured walls is not guaranteed. Avoid applying them to freshly painted walls; allow 4 weeks for paint to fully cure based on the paint manufacturer’s guidelines. Parker and Olive is not liable for any wall damage.

Will I need any tools for applying my decals? No tools are necessary for the application of your wall decals.

What’s the best way to clean my wall decals? A simple wipe with a damp cloth will do. Avoid using any harsh cleaners or abrasive materials.

Do the actual colors and sizes of the decals match their pictures? Colors may slightly differ due to variations in monitor display settings. While display images provide an example, actual decals might not reflect the exact scale. Check the provided image for accurate measurements. For optimal presentation, we recommend placing decals against a white background.

How should I apply my wall decals?

  1. Ensure the wall is dust-free, clean, and dry. Avoid application on newly painted walls.
  2. Flatten the decal to remove any wrinkles. Plan your layout by temporarily placing decals on the wall to test both application and removal.
  3. Carefully peel the decal from its backing without letting it fold onto itself, then position it on the wall. Once in place, gently rub each decal to secure it.

What is the removal process for wall decals?

  1. Gently peel off the decals, starting from an edge and working slowly to avoid damage.
  2. If a decal is resistant, lightly warm it with a hair dryer on low heat before peeling. Note that some residue may remain.

Be aware that we cannot guarantee damage-free removal of decals from surfaces.
